Our highly successful Kookaburra Challenge Corporate Fleet Regatta program has cranked up the boat speed even further. With the introduction of the dynamic 'Sydney 38s', Kookaburra can deliver the absolute in high performance team building and client entertainment on the water. The 'Sydney 38s' are the newest commercially surveyed, mid-sized racing yachts available for charter and add another dimension to our wide range of corporate fleet regatta options.

Kookaburra Challenge fleet regattas can be tailored to suit from as few as 10 guests, to the largest conferences or incentive groups of 300 or more. Our expertly managed half day or full day programs can be based from our excellent shore facility at Jones Bay Wharf or from a luxury charter vessel.

team building Groups are generally divided into teams of 6-10 guests - at Kookaburra we keep the crew numbers down to the minimum on each yacht to ensure maximum involvement and comfort. The type and number of yachts participating in the racing depends upon the size of the group and the final format of the event.

Each yacht is skippered by a qualified instructor who will guide and assist your guests. All skippers are linked to the race committee boat by a dedicated and exclusive personal radio system, ensuring an extremely proficient and well organised regatta.

Your guest teams are transferred by our America's Cup tender boat to their racing yachts. Upon boarding, they will receive further sailing instruction from their skipper. The race program is generally a series of heat races conducted on an Olympic style race course. The Low Point Score System is used, with points tallied after each race to decide the ultimate victors of the challenge. All racing is conducted under International Sailing Federation Race Rules.
